Forest Right Act (CFR) Implimentation Programme

Area of Operation: Block Dhimarkheda, District Katni (M.P.)
Objectives:
- To create a positive environment for Forest Right Act;
- To work towards Community Forest Right Micro Planning.
Approach:
- Sensitization and mobilization of Tribal community;
- To Establish Village Development Committee (Gram Vikas Samiti);
- To establish Tribal Right Committee (Adivasi Adhikar Sangh - AAS) at Block and District Level;
- To work for Individual Forest Right, Community Forest Right and Forest Resource Right;
- To work for Land Right of Tribal Community and “Bhopal Ghoshna Patra- 2002” for Land Rights;
- To establish women Committee for their Livelihood and Entitlement different Rights;
- To create Community Advocate (Samajik Vakil) for awareness of their Rights;
- To create Awareness for NREGA and Government Scheme for sustainable livelihood.
Target Population:
- Tribal Community
Population Covered: 42 Tribal villages
